Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Inter midfielder Joao Mario and will offer Juan Mata in exchange, reports the Corriere dello Sport.

Mourinho is keen to improve his central midfield options in the January transfer window and is ready to sacrifice Mata to bring in Joao Mario.

However, Inter are not so keen on Mata and would prefer to see the currently out-of-favour Henrikh Mkhitaryan included in any potential swap deal.

Liverpool striker Danny Ings is wanted by a string of Premier League clubs on loan in the January transfer window, according to The Guardian .

Ings has made just one substitute appearance for Liverpool this season and has been hampered by knee injuries over the past two years.

N’Zonzi hasn’t played for Sevilla since being substituted at half-time of the 3-3 draw with Liverpool in the Champions League last month.

Liverpool are among the clubs reportedly interested in the former Blackburn and Stoke man, with Arsenal and Everton said to be in talks.

HAZARD HOLDING OUT FOR MADRID OFFER

Talks between Chelsea and Eden Hazard over a new contract have stalled as the Belgian star holds out for an offer from Real Madrid, according to The Times .

The Blues reportedly are ready to make Hazard the highest paid player in club history, with a salary worth £300,000 per week.

But Hazard is reluctant to extend a contract that still has two and a half years remaining because it would effectively end his hopes of joining Los Blancos.

Mourinho is keen to sign a new left-back and Rose has been a long-term target to fill that position, especially given his uncertain future at Spurs.

United are now optimistic they can agree a deal with Spurs to bring Rose to Old Trafford either in January, or next summer.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is considering a swap deal that would see Toni Kroos and cash sent to Juventus in exchange for Paulo Dybala, according to Rai Sport .

Juve reportedly are not looking to part ways with the Argentine playmaker and could offer Dybala an increased salary to help fend off Madrid. The Serie A champions, however, are not ready to keep Dybala at all costs.

Manchester United are looking to keep pace with Man City at the top of the Premier League, and Mourinho has identified left-back, right wing and a No. 10 as areas he’d like to strengthen.

New Everton boss Sam Allardyce has identified West Brom centre-back Jonny Evans as a top target, according to ESPN FC .

PL RIVALS WANT MADRID MIDFIELDER

Arsenal and Tottenham have both made enquiries about signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in January, claims Diario Gol .

Ceballos has struggled for game time since joining Madrid from Real Betis in the summer and could be on the move in the New Year.

In addition to local rivals Arsenal and Spurs showing an interest, Ceballos is also wanted by AC Milan, Roma and his former club Betis.
